Why do we have love handles? It’s mainly due to too much fat being concentrated around our waistline. Yeah, I know. Gross, right? What’s the solution? So you will do intervals of 30 seconds of intense exercise, followed by 15 seconds of rest. Repeat this 10 times. That would constitute 1 set. Aim to do at least 3 sets. Research has shown that working out this way burns a lot of fat from your body, and the fat continues to burn even a day or two after the workout. 2. DO EXERCISES THAT TARGET THE ABS/CORE

On top of the fat burning high intensity interval workouts, you also have to do lots of exercises that specifically target the core and abs area, which will help shape and define your abs. This ultimately takes care of the love handles… Some examples are hanging knee raises, Russian twists with a medicine ball or dumbbell, planks, side planks and dumbbell woodchoppers.

3. NUTRITION – EAT HEALTHY & CLEAN

You would need to healthy, meaning eat lean meat, eggs and low fat milk for protein, incorporate lots of vegetables and fruit into your diet, as well as whole grains. Cut these from your diet : sugar, white bread, white rice, fried foods, sweetened canned drinks. These will kill you! (well, at least they will pile on the fat around your waist)

Cold water and spices such as turmeric and cinnamon will also help your body burn fat, so try to put these into your meals.

Nutrition is probably the most important aspect of ridding yourself of the dreaded love handles.
