Metabolic Workouts for BJJ

If you are looking for a suitable workout to get fitter and stronger for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, check out metabolic workouts.

Technically, a metabolic workout is doing structural and compound exercises with short rests in between exercises. The aim is to  maximize calorie burn and increase metabolic rate during and after the workout. 

This kind of approach is suitable for sports such as BJJ and grappling, whereby the training sessions especially during a sparring session is more anaerobic than aerobic (ie short bursts, rest, then burst again).
